I want to make a mini skirt for me with knit cotton fabric.  how much (inches) do i have to take off the pattern from waist and hips to make it fit snug?
I have sewn knit fabric before, i just know advice on making a fitted pattern.

Your question isn't phrased very well. Do you want information on altering a pattern? or making the skirt fit you better? I'd cut the pieces & then pin it together on me if I wanted something that fitted, no measuring at all Smiley

When a short skirt is close fitting it needs to be a hair longer than if it was A line or hung loosely to prevent showing your panties Wink
