If all our life is but a dream, fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me.

I love how it makes you look like you have short hair when you wear it with your hair up. I must have one of these!!

Dido about the shaping..

Hey everyone, thanks for the words,

When I do get a chance I'll write up as good a pattern as I can,  if anyone cares. Ive just started another one for a swap partner of mine, so I can take better notes this time around.

Sewincbm, I didnt do any shaping. Once I was done with the ribbing I increased (I kinda forget how much, hence trying again and keeping better notes) and then started in stitch pattern until I felt it was what I was going for (I maintain I had no idea what this hat was actually going to be) then I started decreasing a tad in pattern, just without the yarnovers (so it would actually decrease) and that was that. Make sense?  Roll Eyes  What goes on in my head isnt always what people hear or see  Cheesy so if anyone has any other questions feel free.  Grin

The stitch pattern you gave, is that just like row one is the one line and row two is the other, and then you repeat?

I love this, I have some great silvery-grey yarn that would look great.

Can I join the majority  --- and say how great this looks.
I have copied down your pattern - don't know when I will get my needles out, but that is sooo nice.
Great work!

Continued happy knitting,
Janey
