What the heck? Your machine sews buttons on for you? That is too cool. I love the fabric you used, and thanks so much for the tutorial Smiley

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!

Every body wants a rock to wind a piece of string around.

Those are adorable! I should make myself some cuz I am always cold as well. I have to say I was kinda creeped out by myself when I thought- "hu I bet she lives in portland too" and then it turned out you do. Your description of the weather is exactly portland, but then again I'm sure other places have the same thing.

cheers and happy sunshine today!

I'm so glad so many people like them.  I really hope you all will come back here and post me some photos when you make your own!

I have an idea to make these with some menswear tweed or plaid wool. Eep!

Ooooh, I love that idea!

I've been meaning to knit myself a pair of legwarmers, but I've lacked the motivation to commit to another knitting project.

I started knitting a pair of legwarmers last September and never finished them  Cheesy  This was a perfect solution for me!

What the heck? Your machine sews buttons on for you? That is too cool.

Actually, That's just a neat little trick.  I just take off the presser foot, drop down the feeddogs and very carefully set the zig zag stitch to the right width.  It's tricky, though, and I've broken a couple of needles and buttons this way, but it's such a time saver.  (by the way, love your sig, but I want a prosthetic forehead on my real head Grin)

The weather has been so great lately, at first I was scared, "Where did the rain go? what is this bright thing in the sky?  what does it want from us?" then my memories of the sun returned Grin But now  I can't wait for all the trees to bloom, it's easily my favorite part of the year.

So cute! I might give these a try, but my brother says I have "Russian shot putter" legs.

Aren't siblings wonderful?  Roll Eyes  I used to get, "Those aren't calves, they're steers!"
Those warmers do indeed remind me of old-fashioned spats.  I'm gonna have to make some.
