I typically do not like the legwarmer fashion, but I must say that I adore these. If I saw someone wearing these walking down the street, I'd definitely approve and gaze for a long while.  Many props to you.

I started with 12" high x my calf circumference. I had to take them in quite a bit because I think I measured my leg too high, but the seam up the inside is no big deal.

I was also happy to learn how to make button holes on my machine, and it isn't as bad as I feared.

OH ME OH MY, these are so cute. I have been neglecting checking the Craftster page for a bit and I popped back on today to catch up and saw THESE and remembered why I love this site.
