And my first post here on crafter. My MIL collects santa claus dolls, so I made her one for christmas. His look is more wizard-like to set him apart from the others she has. I'm a bird lover so I had to include a cute little cardinal.

This was FUN to create!  And a learning experience.

My MIL loved the doll, probably mostly because I put so much work into it. She has a "santa room" guest room containing thousands of santa dolls on shelves and all around. It's weird sleeping in that room and waking up to all of those eyes staring at me.
