this is probably the third or fourth time i've attempted to post these. . .my computer has been hating me a little... Cry

so  here i have two different skirts for you
First:

this is probably my favorite pattern for skirts.  they're nice and flowy and turn out so cute.  the only problem i have with them is hemming the waistband and the skirt bottom because they're curved so it's a constant battle to get the hem right. . .(so with these, i tend to take bias tape or ribbon or lace and just sew it surrounding the hem.  easier, most definately)

and Second:

different pattern, and outcome.  i think i need to go to joanns and find something i can use as a really easy waistband. . .because just hemming stuff and drawstrings aren't going to cut it. . . Undecided

i made a third skirt but don't have pictures of it yet, with plain black fabric on one side, and black with multi-colored hearts on the other.  it's really cute, and in the same pattern of the first skirt.

((thanks for looking))

I really like the plaid one....my favorite challenge to work with!  I hope they both fit well because they would be just fabulous to wear  Smiley

well, i'm glad i'm getting responses!!

CotureFreak:
i love working with anything needing to be matched.  then not matching it on purpose.  the plaid matched because it was just foldedin half, and cut. . .but the white skirt was a little more fun, i ended up having the pattern face one way on one side, and the other on the other side. . .kinda fun!!

The only problem with it is it's a tad bit loose--actually they all are, so i'm getting something to use as a waistband a bit heavier than the material so it doesn't decide to rip   Cheesy

DaisyAlly:
Thank you!  i think the plaid is my favorite too so far, the length and pattern is just RIGHT.

Camilaustral:
thanks!!
--bias tape isn't necessarily my first choice, but if it's cheaper i'll take it.  i'd want ribon or lace first. . .but when push comes to shove. . .Whatcha going to do???
