KimberlyPye I love the colour of your turtle. What kind of wool is that?

As to the coloured googly eyes, I've seen them in various dollar stores. Check the craft aisles in dollar stores in your area. Specificially, here in Canada I believe Dollar Max carries them, but I've been told before that they don't have stores in the U.S.

Keep turtleing everyone! They all look so good!

Thanks!

It's just good ol' regular worsted acrylic yarn from the stash. :-)

Ahhh, the Dollar Stores, how I love thee. I'll check, sometimes they carry yarn! Granted they're novelty yarns, I've gotten Bernat and Lion Brand, for $1!  Grin Grin Grin

I was at my local Dollar Tree last night with KimberlyPye and they had lots of novelty yarns. Patons and Bernat mostly... including one called "Bling Bling", and a shimmery one from Paton's. Bernat... Matrix? I think one of them was called.

Yum. Even if it's trashy novelty yarn I can't pass it up for a $1. Besides, doesn't everyone want a turtle with a flashy shell?  Grin
