Oh so cute... I think I like this one better than the first one. Do you think it would work with cotton?

If you used a really tight gauge with cotton I bet it would work. I think the reason this one worked out so well was because I felted it a lot and it was really tight to begin with. The structure is the key. Maybe if you used craft wire in the edges it would give you more structure in the brim. In short, yes I think that cotton would work Smiley

Also, was it you who recommended the boiling water in the machine while felting, because good call! It worked. If it wasn't you lilies, then who ever it was, if you're out there thank you!!

I love the hat. ROB LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE ONE OF MY NEIGHBORS---same receding (ha!) hairline, beard, brown eyes, silly expression, EVERYTHINGKS.

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.

You should check out the episode in the second season of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! that has a spoof commercial for a store called Tiny Hats. You would certainly appreciate it, it's super funny.

love it!
I must have missed a hat along the way, I think, will have to look for your first top hat.
Im kinda hoping for either a bonnet, but not sure if that would work, or an aviator type cap, maybe with goggles?,
they are  all fantastic whatever you choose!

Ooo, goggles and a hat. That sounds like too much fun. You'll be glad to know that I have plans for bonnets drawn up. I'm thinking that they need to be for covering up your hair when you wear it in a bun. That will super hilarious.

Thanks for all the encouragement friends. I'll keep makin' them if you keep thinking that they're funny.
