I have a 3 month old, so I make things while he sleeps, but by the time I'm ready to take pics, he's awake. I finally got a bunch of pics taken, so here's a few of my favorites. Please let me know what you think.

Using scraps of memory wire, I thought they would make nice curves on these earrings that won't straighten out. Sorry this pic is a bit out of focus, but I wanted to show these off.

I got this pattern from a klutz book, because I love those books. They are all really neat, even though they are aimed at kids and teens.

A spiral woven bracelet. It has a toggle clasp on the back.

And my very first attempt at beaded flowers. I didn't have any floral tape, so I used green electrical tape and attached it to a cheapo bic ink pen.

It's all wonderful!  I especially love the memory wire earrings.  I can't wait to try it!
The only thing is that I have a hard time "looping closed" my memory wire, (I'm new!).  Is there a secret?  Am I just using crappy memory wire?  As soon as I master it, I'm making me some of those awesome earrings up there!

I use the round nose pliers to make the loop as far as I can. Then I use needle nose pliers to close it. It hurts my hand even to turn it as far as I do, but if I hit the right angle with the needle nose, it doesn't squish out the loop.

That was my first flower, so it took about 2 hours to get the way I wanted. After that, I got the hang of it and now it takes about an hour for me to make one. I used this pattern.

I LOVE your use of the memory wire! That is awesome! Next payday I am picking up some memory wire. Let that be on YOUR conscience Wink
