Continuing my 'ridiculously detailed stencils' theme.

Not too sure if I'm actually finished with it yet, it just occured to me I could add some raised spirals as well. The black is glittery but it didn't really show up like I wanted. The letters are raised with diamond glaze.
Made the stencil using the type on a path tool in illustrator.

Wow... it's a long time I heard that song Smiley
In my opinion, I would leave it the way it is now, it's really beautiful 'an sich'. I like the type of letters also.

duh. nevermind. more importantly- what did you use?
I use freezer paper on my canvas but they dont stick completly and end up coming up in certain spots.

I use freezer paper on my canvas but they dont stick completly and end up coming up in certain spots.

I used contact paper which is like sticky plastic paper. It had a few bleeds but I covered them up with a q-tip dipped in black paint. Also the islands in the middle of the letters eg. a e p are done with a q tip as well.

I painted the black background first so the contact stuck better to that than it would to just canvas.
