That's great!

What kind of silver paint did you use? Or is that the fabric?

She turned out so pretty. I think you could coordinate her skin color with lots of outfits, if the outfits are made of neutrals. I think she;d be really pretty in an unbleached muslin dress with lots of white lace and ribbon.
I love the idea of giving toys a heart. Congratulations on your first successful poppet. Welcome to the poppet family.

The fabric already had the leaves painted on it.

Here is the poppet website, however poppets are only made here on craftster http://www.thinkscience.org/Poppets/index.html. You can find information on how they started there.

The craft-a-long is here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=205341.0. There is a lot of great information there as well.

Hope that helps! Feel free to pm me if you have any more poppet related questions.

There's also a discussion in the toys thread about that.

I went threw and read all comments...

Yes a separate board is a good idea for the poppets.

It is a simple pattern...customize to your personality or the person you are making it for.  I have only made one at this time but plan to make another.

I know it all goes in fazes....now it is poppets.

Most of all....crafts here are wonderful in sharing tutorial, advise, suggestion, and so for....where else can you find that.  All of you are our own personal mentors, teachers, counselors, and friends.  Craftser brightens ones day.

Thank you all for being here.... Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley
