Awww that is so cute...I just bought a house last year, and the lady left two desks like that in my basement...I left them cause I thought they would be fun to do something with when I eventually have kids...now I know exactly what I want to do...Great job!! You have given me inspiration...now I just have to make some kids... Grin - all in good time I suppose!!!
Nessagurl - those old school desks work great as side tables and tv holders as well.  I used one as a bedside table, and then tv holder for years.  Just make sure its still sturdy before you put a heavy TV on it. lol

You can always make those 'hiding' children, the little corner kid things, to keep the seat warm until you have your own real kids. Infinitely quieter and easier to deal with.
