Hello!

I'm new on here though i have lurked for a bit.

A few of us have started up a fortnightly stitch 'n' bitch at the Florist pub in Bethnal Green.  I need to reconnect with my crafty side having left it unloved and abandoned for a few years and having gone back to uni I now have a little more time for that sort of stuff!

The next one will be on the 9th march from around 12.30.  The "let them eat cake" launch party cupcakes went down a storm so we'll try to make that a regular thing.

Anyway, here's how to find it: http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=535274&y=182846&z=0&sv=e2+0JD&st=2&pc=e2+0JD&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf

It's not open on Sundays but there's also a very lovely haberdashery just across the road called "Prick Your Finger" (www.prickyourfinger.com) so before long the whole street should be clacketty-clacking with the sound of knitting needles.

Here's a link to the poster since I'm too new to post pics just yet: http://www.flickr.com/photos/catherinerose1980/2279672564/

Noticed your posting about the Bethnal Green Stitch n Bitch this weekend.  I'm probably going to try and come along, but I'm not sure if you guys know about the Hungamunga thing coincidentally straight afterwards?  Its a crafty thing in Bethnal Green Working Mens Club, normally monthly.  Just thought I'd flag it up in case it is of interest as a thing to tag on to your do!

Hello Smiley

I live just round the corner from The Florist so I'd love to come to a S n B there!  When is your next meeting?

Hey KatyLouise, it'd be great to see you there!

Normally they're fortnightly but the next one will be on the 30th March because of Easter Sunday.  We'll be easy to spot and normally on the sofas near the front door.

If you want to join the facebook group, just search "stitch n bitch at the florist" to find it.

Hi all,

I've just moved to London (from Canada!) for a summer internship. If these SnB sessions are still happening, I would love to attend! I haven't got internet hooked up in my flat and Facebook is blocked from my office, so I can't check out the group for information... could someone let me know when the next one is?

Thanks!
