I made this belt for my My Chemical Romance fanatic best buddy. She hasn't got it yet, but I sure hope she likes it, I was tempted to keep it for myself!

I think I can see myself making many more of these; I've had my housemates collecting bottle caps since the start of the year so I have no shortage of supplies!  Wink They think I'm mad...

The caps are attached to the belt by rounded buttons glued to the cap insides by epoxy glue, then sewn on. The eyelets were attached using my new eyelet setter; which I've been using for every project I can shake it at as of late Cheesy

The images were printed off, cut out into circles, and then PVA glued to the tops of the caps. Several layers of PVA were added to form a protective coat over the pictures, letting each layer dry completely in between coats.

A close up!

And an action shot!! Whee Cheesy

C & C welcome!

Very cute; you're such a sweet friend!  I've only given one crafted gift, and it was a scarf for my boyfraynd.

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.

Hehee, really I'm just a poor student who was looking to not spend too much dosh on a gift!! ... That was the plan anyway. Fact is I ended up buying the eyelet setter, so the gift that would have cost me only 3, cost me over 10!! Cheesy Oh well!!!

My boyfriend wants a scarf too, I've managed to avoid it this winter, I'm such a slow knitter!
