krazigal72: I just used some old scissors. I'm pretty sure that cutting cds isn't so good for scissors, so don't use your best craft scissors for this project. Wink

Come to think of it, the super-cheap-'n'-nasty CDR I used might have been easier to cut than a real cd. I'll have to experiment.

I like your discoball WAY better than the others. It's more fun to put shiny objects in between the CD pieces and personalize yours to make it better and more unique than other balls.

i dont get how the spraypaint would melt it?

I'm not sure how (educated guess being a result of a chemical reaction) but that's what I've heard. Unless you get the right kind of spraypaint (a kind that says it can be used on styrofoam)

i saw a disco ball made out a foam ball with sequins and straight pins....but i imagine that would be really tedious........i like ur way better, its purtyer anyways.........great job
