I love the embroidery and the button...and the pin...and the ring... Who am I kidding? I love it all! The card is really beautiful too.

Since my partner has received, I'm debating whether to go ahead and post pics or be patient like a good little crafter. Think I"ll wait just a little longer. I want to see them in their natural habitat.

This is what I sent Fabric:

I made three CD cases and compiled lists of music from the Art Nouveau period she may want to listen to one day. Here are the cases made from cardboard.

Front and back covers

Fabric likes green, so I wanted to have a green hue in each case.  I also made stationary with Art Nouveau motifs.  I designed them with Art Nouveau clip art and printed them on stationary with (nearly empty catridge) an injet printer and then used watercolor and ink to finish them.

Close up of the designs:

I also bought these spice magnets and covered the see through lid with Art Nouveau print...one got too hot and melted a little bit.

Well thanks!  I've been concentrating on "serious art" this winter and decided I needed something just for fun.  Fabric is such a great partner.  She gave me room to be creative and still provided me with colors she liked and her thoughts on Nouveau in general.  I came away learning so much about Mucha and his culture.  I think her package is waiting at home for me (ala post office tracking) so I'm excited to see what's inside!
