I finished these this past fall but never posted! (Ravelry distracted me!) So allow me to show off the last things I knit before I developed a pregnancy-induced knitting aversion!

Here's my skull buttons "buttony sweater" (free pattern from ohmystars.net)

My big advice for this sweater...don't use heavy metal buttons! My buttons (as awesome as they are) weight the sweater down big time. I sized the sweater up too which in hindsight wasn't necessary...althoug h I can wear it now at 5 months pregnant so I guess that's a plus!

It's a shame Knit Picks discontinued this Panache yarn because it's sooooo soft. I used the "coal" color.

I knit Henry here for a Punk Rock Gift Exchange (blog swap) using the Knit Your Own Rockstar pattern from Stitch N Bitch:

And for a frilly change of pace, the baby hoodie (Called "Half Pint Hoodie") I knit for my baby cousin:

Thanks for looking!

I love the sweater and I think Henry Rollins is pretty rockin' too!!
I really want your buttony sweater...I love how it has a nice open neck and that the 'piraty' buttons come down the one side.
Great work! I wish I had your skills Wink

NO. This sweater is not difficult at all, it's actually a great first sweater pattern (this was my first adult sized sweater and I was able to watch TV the whole time...not something I can normally do).

I made it even easier by knitting the buttons right into the sweater (which in hindsight I wish I didn't just because they're SO heavy, but oh well...they're awesome).

If anyone decides to make this, feel free to ask me if you are confused! I'd be happy to help. It's knit in pretty much one piece too so there's minimal seaming! Actually I don't think there's any seaming. It's top down, done on long circs, bulky yarn (it's a fast knit). Try it!

Thanks for all the compliments! You make a girl feel warm and fuzzy inside!

I love the buttony sweater.  The shape is great, and the pirate buttons are lovely.

The baby sweater is cute, too!
