that quilted flower is really cool and great idea (to both your and your boy) for keeping the picture pockets inside--really neat!

I'll post pictures on the journal I received from thunderchild in a few hours, just need to get hold of the camera! I'm a little impatient too, so I might even add a few pictures of the ones I made.

Don't worry Ren!!!!

These are the wonderful books I recieved

Inside the large book

Inside the small "star" book

And the beautiful bead detail

My journal was no way as good as these!!! They are fantastic! I will use the small book as a mini photo album to carry round with me.

Thank you Ren you are really talented!

Thank you, I'm glad you like them 'cause I sure had fun making them. I make books quite a lot as it's easier than buying a vast majority of sketch books when I have all the paper hanging around in my drawers. The mini photo album idea sounds great! The best thing about that sort of book is that, even though it's small, you can fit quite a bit of information in it.

I'm just off to take some pictures now.

I just got my journal from half pint!  It is so pretty...

I love the cover...it is hard to see in the picture, but the flowers are actually raised.

and this paper inside the cover is so beautiful.

Thanks so much, I love it!

wow, everyone's journals are great! I like the star book.  I made some for xmas gifts and they were fun (both to make and to write in).

Here's what sowingdiva sent me:

A green and gold journal, along with a green pen and a postcard from las vegas!

here's a closeup of the lovely material (it's got dragonflies!) and gold button she used:

The inside cover is this gold paper that has a wonderful sheen to it which I'm sure the pic doesn't capture:

Lots and lots blank white paper for me to write on!

great journals!  I love how the flowers are raised, and the star book is too cute and I love the dragonflies, are they paper or fabric?
