I'm so satisfied with the way this bag turned out! A skirt and pair of shoes inspired this tote bag, and everything went exactly the way I wanted it to.
The straps are tied at the top, but can be untied for messenger bag style carrying. Two pockets inside and one on the back.

The main fabric is a dark navy blue corduroy. So rich in color in person. I'm addicted to corduroy! Wink

What do you think about the straps? Look funny being tied?

Thanks for looking! Smiley

This is awesome!...the finishing looks very professional...better than some totes I've paid for in stores, I'd say... Tongue

I like the convertible straps!...they don't look funny at all...if anything, the knot adds to the whole 'nautical' feel of the bag.

Bravo!

Thanks for the comments.

I like to think the knot adds to the nautical theme too, I just worried that it looked a little wonky.  Smiley

Where do you find the closure for your bag?  I have looked everywhere and haven't been able to find them, I think I must be blind because EVERYONE has them!! haha

I love the nautical theme you have going on here, it's awesome!  The bold anchor on the front looks great and the inside fabric coordinates so well!  Very nice job & thanks for sharing!
