I'm usually useless at this sort of thing, so I was really very proud of managing to make these.  One of my friends taught me how very late at night last week.  Regardless, here's my flowers and bird decorating the top of my fishtank:

The awesome bird made out of a piece of ribbon (that took me a lot longer than it took my friend!):

A few flowers:

These aren't at all impressive compared to some of the stuff in here, but, you know, I was proud of them.  And I think they're fun if nothing else.  =D

Thanks for looking!

Your flowers are so pretty! What kind of paper did you use?
I like the bird too, I used to have a book with those in it when I was a girl. Never made any though now I wish I had.

I don't know about a pattern, my friend taught me from memory although I'm pretty sure she got it from a pattern initially.  I used her paper too.  =D

I have that paper! Cheesy  The one that you used for your flowers.  Except I use mine for turtles. Grin  Nothing is cooler then a starburst turtle.  Have you thought about making alot of the flowers and then making a flower ball to hang?  It looks SO awesome!  I'm going to make one this summer.  Use up all the flowers I have hanging around...

I also love your bird!  I'm still sruck on ribbon fish... Tongue

I love making these flowers. They're called Kusadama flowers and here's a nice tutorial on them...
