I am so glad you liked everything!  The pincushion was easy, here is the tute link I used:
http://whipup.net/2006/03/01/stickin-it-to-the-pincushion/

I used vintage buttons for the top.   I was lucky enough that my crafty/quilting/fabric stashing mother-in-law had that blue toile in her collection and that she didn't want it.  I was so happy when I found it was literally dancing around downstairs!  I don't think I could have found a better one, if I had tried.

On the subject of Singer machines, I have an interesting factoid:  My dad, Gene, has the most complete collection of singer home models (black) in the entire nation!  His collection is even more complete than the Smithsonians.  There are larger collections, but he has all the models, all the decals and all the cabinet types from (I can't remember the exact year) but the 1800's to 1956.  And they all sew perfectly and have all the books and parts.  He started collecting a long time ago and restores them all himself.  (he is just a little bit OCD) Now, since he has pretty much everything there is (he collects everything singer, not just machines), he has started getting them for me.  I have two so far, a 99k and the other one thats downstairs that i cant remember the model of.

Here's to the vintage singer craftsters!

I received my package from lapoli. I loved opening each package, it was like Christmas all over again!

First here is a group shot of the wonderful packaging.

And here is everything unwrapped:

Something Local: A wonderful birch crochet hook made from local artisans. I can't wait to try this on my next project.

Something round: Tins for my spices. I don't know how she knew- but I was just telling my husband that we needed to redo our spice storage. These will help so much. B=basil, T=thyme, p=parsley,M=marjoram, and o=oregano.

Something green: Handmade green tea and cucumber soap. This just smells so yummy

Something Hard: Two bars of hard dark chocolate. I love the wrappers on these. And they taste pretty good too.

Something related to "T": Well I know that Lapoli had a hard time with this one but I think she did great Smiley She sent a "Try Me" kit of different yarns because I've only ever really worked with acrylic yarn. There are two cotton yarns and a soy/wool blend

Something Funny: Mr. Funky's Super Crochet Wonderful- need I say more??

Sender's Choice: Something warm. Lapoli knit me a calorimetry. I absolutely love this! I have been drooling over all the cool ones here on Craftster, and now I have one of my own Grin

And an action shot: This is so perfect, considering that this is pretty much how I wear my hair everyday and having to undo my pony tail every time I have to wear a hat gets annoying.

Thank you lapoli!!! I love everything.
