I made this for the Neil Gaiman swap, from the Poppet pattern Ghilie has generously shared with Craftster (thanks!).  I made some minor modifications (hands and feet instead of paws, different ears).  She's my first poppet.  It was a lot of fun working on this project; I look forward to making another one.

Her earrings and hair detail (it's short and blonde/yellow on one side, dyed and long on the other)

Her fishnets

ETA: For those who don't know who Delirium is - here's a Wikipedia entry about her.  I based this on how she looks in Brief Lives, though - it's somewhat similar but not identical to the picture on the Wikipedia page.

Sometimes it's knit and sometimes it's crochet.

What's amazing is that the colored part was all one yarn.  I was wandering through the yarn section and saw it and knew - THAT is Delirium's hair!  Just the perfect colors for it.

Thanks everybody!

You did a great job on her!  However, I'm so *un-hip* that I had to google this to see what in the world you were talking about!

As soon as I saw the thumbnail in the "Newest Projects" section on the front page, I said, omg, that's Delirium.
Absolutely gorgeous. And you said this was for a swap?? I'm jealous of the person who gets her Smiley

such great detail!  You even gave her different colored eyes too!  Are you going to give her a fish to walk as well?
