So, after about a zillion LP sleeve/LP purses I decided it was time to branch out.  This was for a retro 50s swap and included recipe cards that were loosely based on something on her wists, dividers and few "yummy" recipes:

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).

Ooooh, I love the recipe cards. They are so much cooler than the conventional plain ones and I love the 50's theme.

Mostly I made it the same way I make the record purses:

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=183675.0

I basically made two boxes - one much taller than the other and used the smaller one as the lid.  I did cut the sides at a slant - but don't think it matters.  The only difference was that I used eyelets and loosely laced the top to the bottom.  (You can see both of those things in the first picture.)  I figured those would get moved around and thought the eyelets would protect it a little more.

Go for it!  I just finished 4 more purses - and it's still fun!
