It's no secret that I luuuurrrrrvvvvveeee the Anna dress pattern. I've made several. But now I've made an Anna shirt! It's a four-way anna, and totally cute.

Action shot (not great, the birthday girl was uncooperative...sheesh, and after all the swag she got....)

This shows the fabrics:

Her favorite gift? She's two, so it must be....

Yes, the big box. sigh.

Cute!! and the choice of the present is just priceless Smiley I love the choices of fabrics - they're all so bright and bold. Love 'em!!

I just made a dress from this same pattern yesterday. But I think the straps in the front tying under the dress bug my girls. I tried it on both and neither one was very happy. Of course Abi is pms'ing (she just turned 5...sigh..) so that might be her reason  Sad Gonna try again when the weather cools off slightly. I had cut the corduroy fabric at the beg of Oct and just now getting 'round to sewing it (and Feb in Florida is not cold )

Thanks all!

kaymadben, There were seven fabrics (two for ties, one for straps, and the four body pieces).

funda62, I highly recommend the Anna pattern. It's a little $, but so totally worth it.

QB,

Did you  just eyeball the pattern to shorten it for a top or do you have a better way of doing that.  I love the mix of fabric! Gotta love the box picture!

If you look carefully at the pattern, there's a line marked for cutting it to shirt size (I missed it the first time I traced) -- it's not the bodice piece, it's on the dress piece. Might be something like "cutting line/Interfacing" -- it was a week or more ago that I traced it so don't really remember....I'll check my pattern, but won't be on again until late tonight.

Since I'd already had the dress traced and saved, I just traced the shirt size and now have even *more* options! yay!
