I made this dress last year (Spring 2007) in 10th grade, with a Simplicity pattern (sorry, I don't have the specifics but I can go look it up later). It only took a few hours and I loved the result! I think it was the first project I've done without my mom's help (I only asked her a question or two instead of having her in the room most of the time guiding me along). I ended up making my older sister a green plaid one, which I can post if I can get a picture.

Sorry you can't see the bottom of the dress in any pictures, they weren't originally to show off the dress. In one my sister and I are at the Cape Cod air show, in another I am at school someone's being sneaky with the camera, and in another I am dressed up for spirit week at school as Luna Lovegood, which explains the bright, random colors and The Quibbler! 'Tis a shame I didn't get my crazy sneakers and neon pink fishnets in that one Wink

and this is kiiiiiiiiiiiiind of random...but...do you go to AHS? that first pic looks like the library there before they started to do construction...
