I made this dress last year (Spring 2007) in 10th grade, with a Simplicity pattern (sorry, I don't have the specifics but I can go look it up later). It only took a few hours and I loved the result! I think it was the first project I've done without my mom's help (I only asked her a question or two instead of having her in the room most of the time guiding me along). I ended up making my older sister a green plaid one, which I can post if I can get a picture.

Sorry you can't see the bottom of the dress in any pictures, they weren't originally to show off the dress. In one my sister and I are at the Cape Cod air show, in another I am at school someone's being sneaky with the camera, and in another I am dressed up for spirit week at school as Luna Lovegood, which explains the bright, random colors and The Quibbler! 'Tis a shame I didn't get my crazy sneakers and neon pink fishnets in that one Wink

It is obviously perfect for all sorts of occasions. I really like it and imagine that you will get plenty more use out of it!
