One question....Where do you buy your Alova suede? Website, store?
Im having a really hard time finding the stuff!

What else do you reccomend?

thanks! : )
You can get alova on Joanns.com. They only have a limited amount of colors. Also there are some great ebay stores that have tons of colors and patterns. Otherwise some people have used no pill fleece, denim, cotton (watch for fraying). Hope this helps. Alova is the easiest to sew!

I had a hard time finding the stuff too. My fabric store carried it, but I was looking in the wrong section. I thought that since it was knit, it would be with the dance and sport knit fabrics. Nope. It was with the apparel fabrics, way in the back! Hahaha. When I finally found it, I felt like I had a fabrics feast! You can also use low pile fake fur. It turns out pretty too.

Thanks guys!  Fabric stores are dissapearing in my area, so I'll havta do a little traveling if I cant find it on-line.

Have you ever used craft rayon?  I keep seeing that on dollmaking sites and it comes in tons of flesh tones...but is it nice?

Im not going to give up my search for alova suede tho! : )
