doing it all, doing it badly

Ah!  I've never posted a proyecto before!  I'm a leetle excited, because no-one in my life is as excited about crafting things.  My DBF supports it, but he's not the crafty type; he doesn't get me like you do. Wink  Onward!
Well, this Calorimetry was finished last year during November.  I never really got around to loading pictures and posting, because I was lazy and I didn't use it at first.  I was kind of scared that it would fall apart or something.  Thankfully, that hasn't happened (yet).

The first one is a better shot of the color.  Used LionBrand Homespun in Harvest, knit on size 10 needles.  I love the combo of the earth tones and the jewel hues.
I've been working on this scarf sporadically since December '07.  I'm hoping to have it done by my mom's birthday, first week of April.   Grin

Just a dropped stitch row for every four rows of garter stitch.  I think it's Caron Simplysoft, dark sage, on sixze 8 needles.
Alright!  Dig in and tell me what you think!  Comments, critiques, and strange quotes are all welcome.

they're really nice. i love the yarn that you used for the calorimetry.

But what's really funny is that I have recently finished a calorimetry and I have a drop stitch scarf still sitting on needle in the hope I'll finish it sometime soooooooooo SNAP!!

I was thinking about it yesterday---saw the KAL that's getting started, followed the link and BAM!  Instant love.  Are you stealing my knitbrains, or and I taking yours???
