I am CONSTANTLY on the lookout for more things to melt in my kiln.   It's a sickness!

Smiley

So...last night, I was rummaging through my treasures, and found, amongst my glass, some antique bottles that I hoard.

WHY NOT!??!?

So, today, ( and it took me ALL day )....I made these lovelies, and I couldn't be happier!

Tomorrow, I'm going to do beer and wine bottles for different color effects!

Smiley

Here's the earrings:

And here's the necklace:

yay!

Thanks!

I can't wait to see what a cobalt wine bottle will look like.

I made a windchime a couple of  years ago, but I couldn't get the donuts to lay perfecty ( or somewhat perfectly) round...so I'm excited about that!

Awesome work. I love how the necklace isn't perfectly round, it gives it a lot of character.

did you cut rings from the bottle? I have a beautiful blue bottle that would look so cool made into a wind chime.
