I believe people are just using the fake eyelashes for people and cutting them for size.

Noushi, I am not sure where you are located.  You can find the eyelashes in the craft store (doll making), Hobby Lobby, Joan's, Michael's. Another place is any beauty supply.  I just bought the cheap one and cut one eyelash in half, so with one pair you get 2 set of eyes.

I hope that helps, plus check out all the poppets threads....someone there may know of places closer to you..

I bought some at Walmart, but I haven't used them yet.  They were with the make-up.

Sally would more than likely have them. Walmart's cosmetic department would probably be cheaper. Also, the cosmetics aisle at your local drugstore would have them too. The best time to get them is around Halloween. There are usually more styles and colour variations displayed around then, and sometimes they're marked down.

Yeah, I may be too late to this thread, but CVS and Rite Aid and the like generally have a pretty well-stocked section with the make-up.

hmmm, i have a related question, so i'll stick it here- how are poppet- makers attaching their eyelashes? I did a search on the poppet-along and came up squat. Are they just glued? If so, which glue was used?
Thanks in advance!

I bought my fake eyelashes at Dollarama !

I picked up one pair that has little orange rhinestones on the lashes, and one standard black pair.

Just waiting for my alova suede to arrive and my poppets will be born!
