I keep looking back at this thread. I find the boat quilt to be really inspiring, it makes me want to branch out and take my art even further since I like working with textiles already. It's so amazing, I can't get over it.

I also have to say that I love the boat quilt.  That reminds me of those photos where only some things were colored, but yours, the boat pops out a ton.  You have a GOOD eye for finding contrasting colors and working something that makes the colors stand out and enhance each other.  I also really like the textures done on the blue and orange quilt you did.  Even though you say you do (or used to) everything in orange and blue, they are such good compliments to each other, which is probably why you are (were) drawn to them.  Nice work!
