Wow, that's beautiful!  Beautiful pieces like this shatter the stupid "sweet old granny makin' blankets for the babies" stereotype that most non-crafty peoples like to shove onto quilting.  I don't have any problems with sweet old grannies (I love them!) or baby blankets, but when you say, "I quilt," or, "I want to quilt," and someone else says, "Gee, Grandma, better get your spectacles on before you hurt yourself," it makes you feel a little lame inside.
Way to make beauty!

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.

That first quilt is so very gorgeous. I've been working with quilts for...3 years now and I'm trying so hard to work in that style but it doesn't seem to quite work for me.

That quilt is amazing.

Will swap fabric (and maybe some other things) for tattoo/flash magazines. I seriously need about 1000 magazines. PM me!

Your 3 quilts are lovely, but I especially like the boat and the sea one.

Hmmm... wallhangings. that's an idea - I have very blank walls.

im in love with the little red boat in the big black sea!  I think the "tripped out" part of the sky is very cool.  It reminds me of the halo effect you get when you look at lights through a wet window, or while you are crying.  I cannot stop looking at this piece.  Just like when I used to go to art museums, there were those few pieces i could sit in front of all day.  I am a newbie quilter myself.  There have been a lot of quilts on here that I've really enjoyed and thought that is a really great piece.  when I saw your quilt i thought...what a great piece of art.  I just gotta hit this rocks.
