one of my projects...bra to dress

Okay so I figure its about time I started posting some of my projects and getting some input from ppl....I've been sewing for several months now and still getting the hang of it since it'd been at least 10 yrs since I had last used a machine etc....

anyway, I started off with just a plain black bra



added some cherry material to it



and the bottom of a jacket dress I'd made many yrs ago but never finished and voila...keep in mind its not fully done..I still need to hem it and do some final things but you get the general idea..

Very nice job ......recon the bra...can never get the cups right.  Let someone else to the hard work. Cover and go....I have done that with worn out wallets, when you can not clean them anymore.

That's really cool!  It's sexy and cute, and bra-top dresses are so easy to wear.  Having the bra attached can help the dress stay in place.  Great job

I have been thinking in that for a long time, but never tought that results were that amazing, you did a great work, I still think that I could mess a good bra, so I must look for a cheap one to give it a try, maybe some one from a thrift store?
