So I found this great tutorial:
It's in French, but with photos, so it's quite understandable (if not, I can try to translate).

I found it so nice and easy that I decided to give it a try. And here it is:

I only added nice bows, small pocket inside (I hate the panic when my mobile rings and I can't find it) and changed the closing.

What do you think?

OK, so I did my best for the tutorial:

You make 3 steps

1. Choose an cut 2 fabrics, inside and outside of the bag, into squares 60x60cm / 24x24inches. Put them wrong sides together and make 4 buttonholes as shown Wink
2. Fold and sew the fabric so the buttonholes are exactly on the edge. That will serve to put the small straps (about 1/5 inch wide and 20 inches long) and make a bow.
3. Fold and sew two others sides of your fabric to get a tunnel for bigger straps/handles (about 1 and 1/5 inch wide and 40 inches long). Sew ends of the  handles and hide the sewing in the tunnel.

That is really pretty!  I love the colors that you chose.  I might have to give the tutorial a try.

Also, your pictures are working fine for me.

Oh that is so cute!  What a cute summer tote! I can imagine carrying it with my sunglasses, a little sun screen, and a little paperback to the park so my kids can play.  Love your fabric and the covered button. Nice touch.

It is a very nice bag. But I must admit, I didn't understand the tutorial  Embarrassed, so if you have time, I would love some explanations. Smiley

I love it!  I am making one today!

I went to babel fish and entered the web address and it made a translated version for me. Though some phrases translated funny (funny haha Cheesy).

Maybe I will make a larger one and a medium. Oh, I am excited now.

Thanks for the tutorial.  Looks easy, and your bag is super cute!  I will try this.
