I can do basic crochet, but no fancy stitches, and I've never been able to understand and follow a pattern.
But 5 years ago I made this blanket, I love it, just a bunch of coloured squares dc'd together.

I bought a huge hook crochet book, and 10mm and 12mm hooks, and picked up the hobby again. I made this scarf in 5 hours, I'm a slow worker Smiley My daughter loves it.

That blanket is absolutely gorgeous... it's now on my list of things I want to make, along with 4 other blankets!

I just used oddments of wool I had lying around. It keeps me warm and snug Cheesy

Very pretty, love all the colors in the blanket, (hold the wool for me please, I'm allergic *scratch,scratch *lol) Not sure I would have the patience to do all those squares, you did a great job.

I love all the colors, it looks great.  I've been crocheting for over 10 years and still can't seem to get the hang of actually seaming peaces together lol.
