THANK YOU, CHEYTOWN!  I was blown away when I saw your idea for turning a button-down shirt into a dress for a little girl.  My two oldest are a little too tall for me to be able to make them dresses from a shirt, so I thought I'd try to make tops instead.  The construction was the same as your tutorial, though I varied the straps a little.  My youngest had to have a top too, so I did one for her as well.  With 3 girls in the house, we're overrun with dresses anyway.  :-)  Thanks again for the original idea, and thanks to the rest of you who have tried it and given me more inspiration.
