7 skeins of Debbie Bliss Merino Aran
Size 7 needles
Some YOs thrown in.

This looks a little (a lot??) like a Green Gable but as I have never seen the pattern I cant say if features a mesh pattern of just YOs like Ive done. I tried it on a lot as I went, which really is the secret to a good fit. Although putting the stitches on scrap yarn and then back on the needles is really a pain in the ass. I also knit it too short once, too long the next time, and just right at last. Btw, I looves it Wink and I think I love knitting without a pattern even more.

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.

You did a great job!

From what I could see in pictures, green gable is just k2tog yo, knit the next round, etc. I made a tank starting like it, then put the lelah lace pattern at the bottom. Nothing like combining ideas...

Nice knock-off (even if it was unintentional, it's still clever)! It's a very flattering sweater--great job.

That's lovely! I love the length of the sleeve, it's just right. I really love the Green Gable pattern but refuse to buy it, because, as you have demonstrated, we could easily figure it out ourselves!
