Despite the fact we probabaly already know ryanmoore won "Project Threadbanger" this month, I figured I'd post my 3rd place entry (3rd for the long contest, 4th for the whole month - I never got a chance to enter the short contest)

Only 1st place for the month wins a prize, but I'm still pretty proud XD

Here was the challenge:
Long challenge - Make a shirt, jacket, hoodie, coat or dress out of something that isn't originally intended to be clothing. This can include around the house textiles, such as curtains, table cloths or bed sheets, or even something more creative.

I used a multitude of old magazines (pictured below) and two rolls of "Adhesive Film" (Which I basically warn you to not work with to make clothing unless you have to ^^; It's a pain.)

I made a vest first, but the challenge called for a jacket, so I had to add sleves. But personal I love it as a vest - and is wayyy more comfy. Note the "D.I.Y."!

Pretending to sell stuff XD It'd be so awesome if you could stash sewing supplies in this thing... but I think that might hurt Oo

I tried to pick articles that delt with contests, DIY fashion, and recycling. The basis of Threadbanger ^^

What do you think?

Looks amazing! I'd applaud with a smilie, but it seems we lack a clapping one. Kudos for keeping the cuttings with the theme Smiley

*hehe, anyone else notice how the bottom magazine is pretty appropriately placed?*
