MissErika, thank you so much!  Yes, I'm going to make one using your awesome instructions this weekend.  I hope it'll look decent enough to post.  Smiley  I love the tassels that girlthursday put on her pochettes.  I'm definitely going to do that to one of the pouches!

I'm so happy I could post something that you guys can use!  I'm happy to hear that your pouches are turning out so lovely.  I hope that you guys will try to post a picture or two.

fabricfightsfire!  Thanks for the compliments!  I love that Spiderman animation!  It's hilarious.

Lrschic: doesn't it always happen that way?  Don't worry, the tutorial will be here when you're ready!

I'm so glad to find this tutorial!

I was looking for something exactly like this!!  So thanks so much!  I already have made one little zipper pouch/purse/pencil case but not with any lining.

I am also totally insipired by everyone else's creations!  They are all so cute and unique!

i love all the little pouches people have been making (those vinyl ones...wow!).  actually i followed this tute to modify some cosmetics bags i was making, because the pattern instructions just didn't work as well as your method!

here's a little zippered pouch i made a while ago.
here's the front...

and the back:

i can't wait to go make more (i found a place with zippers 3/$1)!

This tutorial goes so quickly. I am really inexperienced with zippers (they threaten me for some reason), but I got this put together in probably an hour. However! Am I the only one that this happened to?

I dont like the way the top is curved. I can imagine how this would be a nice design detail sometimes, but that's not what I wanted.

Here is a closer picture.

Before I waste some more zippers, can y'all tell me how to get around that?

Thanks -
