So, I bought the McCalls 3979 for the fabulous price of $1.99 and for the fabulous View E everyone here has been making. However, I made View A for a friend and wanted to share it!

I used cotton for the print and broadcloth for the contrast. The most frustrating part was all the narrow hems, mostly because of the amount of pressing involved. Additionally, the broadcloth didn't hold up well for the narrow hem, so I ended up doubling the fabric for the ties and I think it turned out okay. I really enjoy how the yellow pops against the raspberry print.

Ta da!

P.S. Please enjoy the view of the sock monkey sheets on my guest bed/fabric holder. They were on sale at Target Smiley
