My friend's mom taught me how to make this and I believed I stumbled into various patterns that are very similar.  I used 1 1/2 skeins of Patons "Nuance" in the color Highlands.  I find it a little itchy but so far its gotten lots of compliments.  Wink

Here's how it goes:

CO 18 stitches** (I believe any multiple of three will work)

R1:*K1, yo, K2tog, repeat from* to end

Repeat this row until you're satisfied with the length of your scarf Smiley

Bind off and enjoy.

**If you add and extra stitch (say, 19 instead of 18) and slip it at the beginning of the row, the edges look prettier
