I love love this bag.  Your choice of fabric is great and very appealing  Adorable.  This has been on my wanna do list for too long.  Thank you for the measurements in cm.  I'd love to try to figure this one out.  It is big and I love the flat bottom.  I've been using too many plastic bags even though I use them later for garbage (instead of buying garbage bags).  Perfect size and I love the way you turned it inside out then sewed.  Thank you.

this is by far the best shopping bag i've seen yet. love the dual handles. did you put in a hard bottom (looks like it)? i have to make some (or you can turn your head so i can steal yours!  )

lol, may be hard to steal them, my dd is snapping them up tomorrow!
No, I didnt put a hard base in, though you could, I was aiming for something that just squished up when not in use.
Im not sure how long they take to make, I cut them out while I watched tv last evening,
and sewed them up today in 15 minute breaks from cleaning the house, etc.
(Im a big fan of Fly Ladys 15 minute cleaning plan)
I guess they dont take much longer than 15 mins once they are cut out and the handles ironed flat, ready to sew.
I went to Spotlight, hoping to get some cute fabrics, but was not hugely inspired.
Guess its a trip up to Ikea, oh poor me, lol!

I'm a 15 minuter too!!  I have to wait until I do the kid's "school time", but then I'm 15 minutes cleaning, 15 minutes sewing.  Usually starts sometime after lunch.

Oh Im so glad Im not alone!
My dd thinks Im a bit of a nutter, but it really works.
That way I never feel guilty about sewing or crafting, knowing I have "done my time", lol!
