My place is usually tidier than this.

I thought I would share some arch paintings I have done in the past year or so.  I am drawn to the lancet (or Gothic) arch, and can't stop making them.  I also tend to get a bit obsessive what with all the little dots and all.  But when I stand back and look at it, I am pleased.  Thanks for looking.  I have included the whole image and some close-ups as well.

I absolutely love these. I once looked at a children's book that was illustrated by an Aboriginal artist from Australia, and the style was very similiar with the dots and circles, etc. Great job!

these are beautiful.  I can imagine them done in threads -- as a blanket or wall hanging or even wearable art.  Lovely design. The dots and dashes would translate well to stitchery.  Beautiful details.

Very pretty.  It's amazing how many variations can be made on a single theme, especially if it's something that you personally find fascinating.
