We lost my daughter's hat last night (ironically at joann's) and of course lost without a trace Sad

being the middle of winter...but NO ONE is selling toddler hats any more (now bathing suits are everywhere...but not hats)...i have searched and searched and cannot find a lined fleece hat pattern ANYWHERE...i would even pay for the pattern (as long as it was reasonable)

this is what her hat looked like (it was from target)

please please, can anyone help? ... the stupid draw-string-less hood on her coat just isnt  going to keep her little head warm Sad

i do personal swaps...  check out my admired objects www.wists.com/ebeth

I'm not sure where you are but out walmart has all the hats on clearance in the clearance section, not the regular sections by clothes where they normally are. And I just saw a bunch at the dollar store for half price.

JoAnnes has a section with patterns on a tall twirly rack, there are ones that "look old" like they have been on the rack since 1970, but they are called something like Stretch & Sew and I noticed the other day while waiting for the girl to ring up my serger, that they had a winter hat & glove pattern for fleece!

MacesMeMe is referring to Kwik Sew, yes, their drawing are rather dated looking, even the brand new oneslol Smiley  Kwik Sew has a number of fleece patterns for kids & adults, dunno if any are lined though.

You could try a fleece grasshopper-knotty hat instead. They are SOOO easy and whip up real fast. Or just make your rectangular at the top and tie off the corners.

I was going to suggest the grasshopper knotty hat as well. . .or how about a "scoodie" a la vegbee?  Smiley
