Im trying my first non-scarf/hat crochet project, the Knot Ugly Shrug from Stitch and Bitch. (Yay! Cheesy) After the 11th row it says "drop loop to be picked up later", so I assume that means just take the loop off the hook and leave it, my question is do I cut the yarn, or should i have another skien?  Huh I really do hate patterns.

yes, leave the loop there and leave the yarn attached. I put a stitch marker (or tie a little piece of yarn around) the dropped loop to make sure it doesn't tear out. You will need another skein, or you can start to work from the other end of your current skein. Good luck!
