I think I have become addicted to quilting.

Hi everyone!  My brother is expecting a little girl in May, and I have been busily making presents for the new little one.  Here are some bibs and burp cloths that I made.
Two bibs with four matching burp cloths:  (The bibs are showing front and back; they are identical.)

One dog bib and matching burp cloth:

One green and purple bib with burp cloth:

I have a couple more in the works; Can a baby have too many bibs and burp cloths?
I think probably not, but this is the first baby I will be an aunt to, so I don't really know.  What do you think?

congratulations on becoming an aunty soon these are all such beautiful items, i have never even heard of a burp cloth until now! my mum used to just sling the bib my brother was wearing over her shoulder and use that, but this is a much nicer idea, and has better coverage! great job!

Those are great, and I *love* your fabric choices.  I've made several of those bibs for my little guy and they're very nice.

Those were adorable. I love the green print one. I am a mother and have made 4 burp clothes and 2 bibs for a friend of mine that is having a baby. I think that will be enough for now. You can always make more. Since you sew very well you can make bibs and burpclothes to match the outfits that you will make =)

congrats on being an aunt. It is so fun!

Those are so, so cute! I love them. And no, a baby can NEVER have too many bibs or burp cloths.

I am glad you like them!  I am also glad to hear that you can't have too many because I have tons of fabric left over-so expect many more of these to come.  I am going to try new styles of burp cloths next.

I love these bibs!  My Best Friend is having a baby in about 8 1/2 months and I need to start crafting!

I think I love you!  It is so hard to craft for babies when you arent used to it.  They are just so freaking tiny.  Its wierd! hehehe!
Thanks again!

I used flannel for both the burp cloths and bibs.  I used these tutorials;
http://happythings.typepad.com/happythings/2007/08/basic-chenille-.html for the bibs!
http://anewchelseamorning.blogspot.com/2007/03/such-mystery-not.html for the burp cloths!

They are super easy to make and my brother and sil really liked them.  Baby should be here in about a week!
