I bet there aren't speaker cozies!  I've printer and scanner cozies, though.

Had lunch with a friend the other day and she got out her nifty chopsticks and chopstick rests for the meal.

I guess I stopped responding to her conversation once, because she poked me and said "what are you STARING at?"

I said "those chopstick rests need cozies!" (thinking of this challenge) and she almost fell out of her chair she was laughing so hard. Smiley

Now all my friends are starting to email me with cozy ideas.

This challenge has gotta happen.  Smiley

I like to think* that the powers behind Crafter Challenges are just taking the time to find appropriate prize sponsors for this multi-category challenge.  I just hope I have time to "get cozy" when and if it happens!

* and by "think" I mean "hope/wish/fantasize".

If there can't be multi-prize-winners, there is still a way to do this. Leah always makes honourable mention of non-winning entries, doesn't she?

Why not have the members vote for "Best in Show" cozy (being the tangible-prize-winner), and Leah appoints other "Do Not Use this Cozy" etc (Honourable mentions)?

Could that work? Frankly I love the challenges for the challenge, and the prize is just extra goodness.

i have seen some great cozies popping up around crafster already this week.

there were ones for silverware, and also headphone speakers.  i think they were knitted and crocheted, respectively...

if i remembered what the makers named them, i would do a search...

There sure are!  Someone had what amounts to wheel and tire cozies that were on the tires of a car!  They knit or crocheted them for a class and didn't call them cozies, but they totally could be called cozies.  Totally.

I was at The ManFlesh's sister's mountain cabin over the weekend and was reminded of this, one of the most rare of cozies, the Vacuum Cozy!  When your cabin is built in the 1920s or thereabouts you don't have a lot of storage for things like vacuums, so why not disguise it with a creepy lady?
