Someone on Ravelry saved a pic of an interesting cabled sweater she wants to make, but can't remember the source.  She guesses it's from about 3 years ago & that's it's a published (not free) pattern.  The link is to her flickr, so suggestions & comments there are probably welcome. Smiley

ETA: Someone found the exact pattern in Austermann Stricktrend 16, pattern 22 fall/winter 2001, but Norah Gaughan also confirmed that she has a similarly constructed pattern in VK, which she'll hunt up the info for. Smiley

Boy, I'd sure like to know too - that is an astoundingly different and attractive pattern! Hope someone knows it!!!

Update: two people mentioned possibly seeing this is a Rebecca or Vogue Knitting Magazine from 3-4 years ago.  Any one with back issues want to take a look?  It is likely from an ad. Smiley

Norah Gaughan has 2 similarly done sweaters, but I don't know where to find them (& Norah herself doesn't remember the exact issues).

One of them is from VK, it's a portrait of her in the sweater, and the project number is clearly 37.

ETA: It's in the Winter 2000-2001 issue

The second was mentioned in 2004 here on Craftster, the Counterpane pullover.  It's labeled project #4.  I've been searching the 'net, but no luck so far (lots of references to Pam Allen's pattern of the same name from IK Fall 2007).  Norah said it's a Reynolds pattern devoted to their Saucy yarn.
