I know that a string market bag is out of season, but I had been wanting one for quite a while. I attempted a number of patterns but ended up frogging the bag over and over. Enough was enough and I finally cobbled together a pattern from two other patterns on the web and sheer necessity!

Lace credit goes to crafty galore on livejournal. I didn't use circulars so I had to edit the lace a bit.
Her lace pattern was
A: k2tog, yo*
Mine ended up being
A: K1,*yo, k2tog*
B: knit

Handles and top of bag credit goes to disdressed. Her edits were way helpful and the pictures made it easy too!

yarn: less than one ball sugar and cream in teal
needles: 13 ( wooden is way easier than aluminum!)
New techniques: Kitchner stitch and using stitch holders

Thanks! The bag didn't take that long to make so I am sure that you could whip in up in no time!
