Okay, so when I was in year 10 we had to do a mini-project to give us an idea of what would be involved in our main project which I'm currently doing this year (corset and skirt, will post when finished).

So I kinda enjoyed the project, but I had no idea how much the coursework would increase this year! And I've got next year to look forward too Tongue

Anyway, on to the denim thing...

The only denim bit is the top panel, which is basically just a long piece of denim from a pair of jeans bought at a charity shop. The rest is made from scratch, my own pattern... as I refused to listen to my teacher about using a commercial pattern (and recent experiences has made me dislike them more, I like doing stuff my own way Tongue), but now she likes me again... so it's all good.
Right pictures...:

front view of all of it, I'm kinda hiding the skirt, but it was just a simple black square shaped skirt, which ended up too short, thats why I'm wearing the white skirt underneath (which I didn't make)

back view, the zip is a little wrinkley due to the fact that the dress no longer fits my hips :S Huh

front view from above

the front of the dress, close up of the darts, and skull appliqu, and the row of safety pins attached to the halter straps and top hem.

just a head shot, may use it for my picture of the day (I'm doing a 365days picture project)

Anyway, enough of the talking etc.

comments/criticisms etc. welcome Smiley

Oh... btw, in case you were wondering, I got full marks for that practical and coursework Smiley

I realleh like it.  Also, the last picture is adorable---sweet, but a little sinister. Wink

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.
