I made this bag for a friend's daughter for her birthday.

I found the cord fabric at Goodwill for a dollar!   It matched the butterfly fabric that I've had in my stash for a while.  So I made the purse: a wallet, a personal tissue holder, a drawstring coin purse and an additional drawstring bag and the 3 sets of barretts.

I don't  get to sew for girls that often so I had a blast making it.  I love the way it turned out and when she got it, she immediately started using it (even though she got 2 other purses at her party).  Can't get a better compliment than that.

Smiley  found fabric at goodwill eh?  Thats where I get alot of my fabric for projects.  I find all types of patterns & styles from old shirts, dresses & ect at the goodwill.  I love that place! Smiley

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.
